Frequently asked questions

Which apps do I need?

The tracker works in Microsoft Excel 2019, 2021, 365 and Google Sheets. The checklists and agreements open in Word, Google Docs or Apple Pages.

Are the agreements lawyer-approved?

No. They're starting-point templates, not legal advice. Contractor, employment, tax and short-term-rental rules vary by province, state and city, so have a local lawyer review and adapt them before use.

Can my cleaner use it?

Yes. Share the printed or PDF checklists. Many hosts keep the tracker private and share only the checklists.

How many properties and people does it handle?

Up to 10 properties and 15 team members, with 600 job rows, 200 supply items, 200 tasks and 300 handoff entries ready to use. You can add more rows.

Does it work out payroll or taxes?

No. It tracks what you agreed to pay and what has been paid. Contractor and employment tax obligations depend on where you are, so ask your accountant.
